Coffee and the Art of Software Maintenance

Coffee is all about two things: simplicity and passion for your craft. I spent a lot of time in coffee shops, talking and listening to baristas about their passion, their craft, about coffee, getting lots of inspiration for my daily work.

Coffee involves two things: building reproducable results, as every coffee brewed should taste just as great as the previous and the next one. The other is getting the customer excited about that precious cup of caffeine-induced ooze and how it came about.

This talk is an exploration of what makes for a great cup of coffee and how really caring about getting the next cup at least just as great makes you a better developer and even better at making customers happy.
