Sure everyone knows how great and useful github.com is, and all the awesome features and team members that go into making it what it is. But we only see the surface and inside of GitHub an amazing amount of work goes into internal hacks and tools to make the daily lives and work of its team fun and extra-productive. We’re putting Zach to the challenge of showing off some of both the well known and completely unknown hacks, how they work, how GitHub uses them, and how we can learn from their experiments.

About Zach

A Ruby developer with sound fundamentals, firm grasp on the industry, and innovative development approaches are all phrases inapplicable to Zach Holman. He works at GitHub, and hacks on sparkline generators, robot music DJs, and ethically frightening FaceTime + Chatroulette mashups. He blogs, he tweets, he evades his taxes.
